NOTE: Allow/Install Microsoft.NET Framework add-on if asked to do so when Firefox loads. Once the add-on is installed you may be asked to restart Firefox. To do so, close the browser, go back to your portable drive and click the “CLICK HERE TO START” icon to re-open Firefox.

NOTE: In an effort to ensure you are viewing this document in the correct browser, we have utilized Mozilla Firefox portable on the USB flash drive. There is a possibility of an AntiVirus or AntiSpyware False Positive when using this product. Below is information from the PortableApps website (portableapps.com/support) concerning this issue:

"Some false positive reports occasionally pop up in different antivirus products in conjunction with software. This is partially due to the compression and portablization techniques used and partially due to a failure of some antivirus companies to fully test their virus definition updates before sending them out to users."

We have scanned the USB flash drive using Symantec AntiVirus to ensure the flash drive is virus free. If your AntiVirus detects a threat, you can safely ignore this warning. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Lenoir Community College Technical Support, Lee Wetherington, at 252-527-6223, ext. 520.
